Being Married. Staying Married.

9 December 2006

Many people view marriage as being tied down. Loss of freedom.
And worse still, some people treat marriage too lightly, and choose the easy way out through divorce.

Marriage is a special bond shared by two souls, who tie the wedding knot after promising to be companions of a lifetime.
It is not only the physical, but also the mental and spiritual unison of two souls.

I think a successful marriage is the understanding of what commitment truly is. To be committed to each other. Combined with love, faith and understanding. This is what marriage is to me.

Peter & I have been married for 3 years today. We are still trying our best as husband and wife to each other.

Frictions are inevitable. We deal with it. We learn from it.

Frictions make us stronger.

Congratulations babe.

To stay in a marriage is one thing, but to find another soul who's willing to share his life with you and work on that marriage is one thing that not everyone will get to experience in their life. You're in the same team when you're married. A team that is working and striving to win something ultimately. Guess not everyone would agree with me, but as you say -- some just want to choose the easy way out.

oh well.

congrats again. not everyone can experience the love u're experiencing now.
