Yiu-Shern's 8 weeks Milestone

Jaundice
His bilirubin reading dropped to only 89 when I took Shern to the Tg Bungah Gov Clinic on Monday.
I am not so worried now as this indicates his jaundice level is gradually coming down.
So yeah...no more needles pricking on his baby feet!

Breastfeeding & Pacifier
Shern is fully on breastmilk. EBM during day time and direct-feed during night time.
Shern is an expert now. He can switch from breasts to bottle to pacifier - and having no problem with the transition.

Sleep Pattern
His sleep pattern is still irregular. Shern still does not know how to differentiate between night and day. *i wonder if he noticed that he only gets to suckle my breasts at night*

Overall, he sleeps less hours compared to a few weeks ago. Shern spends more time now gazing at his cot mobiles and goo-goo-gaa-gaa-ing.
Yes, he is getting more vocal. His mouth twitches when you talk to him, as if he wants to join in the conversation. But the only thing he could manage is ooh...ahh...goo...gaa...

How Is Mummy Doing?

Had a difficult time trying to drown at least 12 glasses of water each day. I think I only manage 8 glasses. But I try my best to drink at least 2 glasses of Anmum Lacta each day, to maintain the quality of my milk.

Been going out at least once a week. Sometimes even twice a week. May it be just a short shopping trip - yes, it is always less than 4 hours because I always need to go home to pump my breasts. Never tried to use the batteries on the Mini E yet. Will try soon.

Managed to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on movie day.
