Sebamed Baby Liquid Cleanser & Children's Shampoo Reviews

I grew up using the Johnson & Johnson's Baby Products Range. Anyway, I think Johnson & Johnson's is the only baby brand I know.

Thus, I was quite shocked when I found out that certain products of Johnson & Johnson's is 'not very safe'. Anyway, me being the kiasu mum avoided all Johnson & Johnson's Baby Toiletries.

After doing some research, I bought toiletries from Baby Sebamed range for Shern.

The baby Sebamed range is a scientifically formulated skin care range for babies and toddlers. The range is suitable for all skin types and is particularly effective in the treatment and prevention of dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, baby acne and cradle cap. As baby's skin is nearly sterile at birth, Sebamed's pH 5.5 products help to strengthen the acid mantle in the first year and protect the skin from disease.

All Sebamed products are free from colourants (except the cleansing bar), nitro-musk compounds, parabens, formaldehyde, nitrosomes and dioxin. Studies in selected groups have documented an allergic incidence of 1 in 5 million, making this a very safe product for your baby and toddler.

Sebamed Baby Liquid Cleanser

Review:
I find this gentle liquid cleanser very suitable for Shern. It does not make his skin dry even when applied directly onto his skin. But usually I just add a few drops onto his bath.

Sebamed Baby Bubble Bath

This 100% soap and alkali free formulation with a pH of 5,5 supports the development of the baby's acid mantle and the moisture balance in the skin. Review
I've tried Sebamed Baby Bubble Bath but I find it too sudsy, maybe because I put too much into his bath. Shern was always still full of suds when I remove him from his tub.

Therefore, I discontinued usage and now prefer to use Sebamed Baby Liquid Cleanser

Sebamed Children's Shampoo

The 100% soap and alkali free, mild emollient formula is ideal for cleansing and care of normal, dry, flaky and extremely sensitive scalp for babies and children. The Children's Shampoo promotes a healthy scalp for baby and child and is an effective treatment for cradle cap. The gentle cleansing action minimizes the risk of dryness and irritation due to its excellent skin tolerance.

Review:
I initially used Pureen's Baby Shampoo (got it free as one of his fullmoon's gifts) in mum's house while bathing Shern. But I find his scalp flaky after use, which I guess is cradle cap. But after changing to Sebamed Children's Shampoo, no more flaky scalp and his head smells great!
