Review: Worthy Book - Ladies & F&B Edition!

It was just before my flying off to Europe when Worthy Books contacted me to see if I am interested to do a review for them.

SO WHO AND WHAT IS WORTHY BOOK?

Worthy Book is a Malaysian coupon-book brand held by Worthy Media, an advertising and marketing company which is currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Worthy Book was released at September 2010 by Han Jia and Ken Kho. The voucher booklet offers discounts, offers and unspecified perks on dining, entertainment, health and beauty services and retail. Its focus on corporate social responsibility from its initial stage has received praise from non-governmental organizations such as National Kidney Foundation in MalaysiaSPCA Malaysia and AIESEC.

And after going off for 1 1/2 months, I returned home flustered and was busy getting back into my routine life with 2 young kids.

I then finally had time to browse through their Voucher Guide Book and saw that most of the brands and outlets are located in the KL.  But I was also pleased to see that there are also brands and outlets that are located in Penang!

This is what I received in the fat envelope.

Firstly, for the Ladies Edition 2014/2015.

Introduction
  • Total 120+ vouchers in book
  • Features popular Shopping, Beauty, Fashion brands in Malaysia.
  • Covering over 50 Shopping Malls!

The contents of the voucher book is neatly categorized by category and then brand name, so it was a breeze to locate what  you are looking for.
And look at the many brands available.

Like I said, I was pleased to see quite some brands and outlets available outside Klang Valley, namely Penang, where I am from.

Some of the brands that had me interested. theSkintopic in which I was eyeing to make use of the 'Buy 1 Olive & Tebe product and get the 2nd product at 50% off".
Remember my review on the Olive Baby Range products which I love? This is definitely such a steal.

They also have this f block brand and also baleno which sells nice clothes for adults and children.
And they even have dicount codes for Zalora online store. Cool!

Next on is their F&B Edition voucher books.
Unfortunately, mine is the old 2013/2014 edition. (But the new 2014/2015 edition is now available in store!)
This is what got me and hubby hooked too. I mean, who is not hooked on food right?

They are divided into categories such as drinks, desserts, pubs/bistro etc.

And then into sections such as Japanese, Thai, etc.
Turn to whatever pleases your palates.

I had always loved going to Shogun for their buffet and pleased to know they are in this too, and I also loved Toast Box. I always have that in KL. Love their polo pau.

And like I mentioned, they also have brands and outlets which are available in Penang as well such as Gelatomio, Bar-B-Q Plaza and BreadTalk, among others.

Overall I think this book is quite value for money, especially if you are a shopping queen or a foodie. Especially if you are located in KL/Klang Valley. It will save you loads.
