Khye Playing the Piano @ 4 1/2yo

Ok, this post has been sitting in my draft folder for 2+ mths.
I think I better publish this before it collects more dust or became outdated.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just like his elder brother, I enrolled Khye for piano lessons when he turned 4yo.
So yes, this is the 3rd year I'm sitting in for classes.
(2 years for each kid, so I'm gonna sit in the same class for 6 years...omgosh...ZzzzzZZzz haha!)
Anyway, he started the Yamaha group class around October last year. And in just about 1/2 year, at the end of the first book, Khye could now play with both hands.
What I like about is his attitude. The moment he learnt the new song in class which required the use of both hands, he immediately came home to practice on it the very next morning before his ride to school.
This is him playing the song Cuckoo Clock, the first song he learnt using both hands to play.
This is the 2nd song he learnt. Still a bit of a hiccup but still good.
Khye is also really proud of himself as he can now play using both hands just like Shern-koko!
I must say that my kids progress well also because they have a very dedicated teacher.
I think at their age, the teacher plays an important part in instilling a love continuing piano lessons and also the dynamics of a group of friends playing together makes it very fun for him.
I'm not sure how long he will continue to learn playing the piano, but then for now, he sure is having fun while learning.
